剧情：
张耀辉（张家辉 饰）已经记不得自己干了多少年卧底了，他唯一清楚的是，自己对这种遮遮掩掩躲躲藏藏的生活早已经忍无可忍。这一次，张耀辉和搭档阿雄（潘源良 饰）打入了一个制作假钞的庞大集团之中，上司刘Sir（狄龙 饰）给了两人两千万巨款，命令他们借同集团交易之际引蛇出洞。 张耀辉本计划和阿雄一起掠走巨款远走高飞，哪知道阿雄先他一步得到了巨款音信全无。不久之后，一具疑似阿雄的无头尸浮出水面，而张耀辉则成为了最大嫌疑人。验尸官高兆褀（吴镇宇 饰）被张耀辉挟持，后者要求他重新验尸。在尸体上，高兆祺发现了疑点，这让他开始相信，张耀辉并不是真凶。
