剧情：
西蒙（史蒂夫·库根 Steve Coogan 饰）是一个整日里循规蹈矩按部就班的公务员，他喜欢有秩序的生活，但上帝似乎并不愿意成全他的愿望。一次偶然中，西蒙成为了一宗谋杀案里唯一的一个目击证人，为了杀人灭口，凶手展开了对于西蒙的追杀，更糟的是，负责调查此案的警察和凶手沆瀣一气，原本的战友变成了对手。 为了不被关进大牢惨遭被强暴的命运，西蒙踏上了逃亡的旅途。想要证明自己的清白，西蒙必须要到一卷记录了整个案发过程的录像带，而这卷录像带此时正躺在银行的保险库中。就这样，西蒙摇身一变，成为了打算抢银行的劫匪。
